Today is a beautiful Friday afternoon in late August, and, two months into their relationship, Cait and Vi are going to attempt something they've never done before.
They're going to relax.
Caitlyn's parents allowed for them to spend the weekend at their vacation home, on the outskirts of Piltover -- away from the constant whirring and buzzing of the city, a quiet spot dipped in greenery.
It's perfect weather; that fine seam between summer and autumn where the day still stretches languidly on, the sun bright without blazing, the evening cool without chilling. The woods surrounding the area are as lovely as they've always been, rich warm greens just beginning to foster that golden tint. The lake by the vacation home glints crystalline in the afternoon sun, a shimmering pool of perfect blue.
For once, they won't have to fight anything; chase anything, run from anything. For once, they can just rest.
So why do Caitlyn's nerves feel like a bundle of just-lit Progress Day firecrackers?
Because-- because, obviously, she's got plans. She's a planner, it's what she does. And she'd have to be an idiot not to picture-- rather vividly-- all the ways she and Vi could spend this three-day weekend, alone, in her family's lavish vacation home. It's too precious an opportunity to waste.
Not that she's told Vi as much. No, those vivid images are restricted purely to the inside of her head.
For now.
"Well, make yourself comfortable," she declares as she opens the door, hoisting the luggage inside before clearing the way for Vi. "Are you hungry? I ensured the fridge is fully stocked for our arrival."

"Fuck," she grunts against Cait's skin, but doesn't let her lips leave her breast for very long, though she does wrap her arm around Cait's back to brace the both of them against each other. She wishes she'd removed the underwear fully, then she might have better motion, but all the same she's pressed up against and inside Cait and she feels magnificently warm and perfect wrapping herself around her. Risking the precision of her touch, she pushes a second finger into her, sliding smoothly to her core.

"I'm-- almost--" she groans out, strained, round nails digging into Vi's back as she rocks helplessly onto her. God, it's not even a minute after that she comes, her whole body overtaken with tension and heat and Vi. Colors burst against her closed eyelids, and for a moment she's completely silent, even her breath frozen in her lungs. And then she crumbles all around Vi, long limbs slackening their hold, head lolling against the pillow, breath coming in heavy puffs from her lips.
"Good god," she mouths, barely audible through her dry throat and heavy tongue.

As Cait’s body relaxes, Vi lets her down onto the bed as if she were made of paper, delicate and careful. She removes her hand from Cait so as to not overstay it’s welcome, and allows herself a taste of her.
She smiles down at Cait, all too pleased with herself. “Yes, I am.”

After a few moments she slows the kiss down and pulls away to allow them both a rest. She leans her head to the side and drops it onto the bed. “Had a good time?”

She brings up her hand to twirl in Cait’s long hair as she leans over her. She considers if Cait might be too tired, would prefer to rest. She hopes not, but she’s not going to push just yet either.
Vi opens her arms and leans her back onto the bed. “Come here,” she asks, with a small motion of her hands towards herself to indicate what “here” she means.

"Now, tell me something," Caitlyn hums into her ear, one hand reaching down to pluck at the buckle of Vi's belt, "Are we ever getting you out of those pants?"
no subject
"Well, you know..." she laughs softly against Cait. "I might let you if you're really nice to me."
no subject
"Alright," she accepts, withdrawing from Vi's belt to instead place both hands over her hips. Leaning up on her elbows, she kisses her chastely, once, before settling into a longer, deeper kiss.
"Violet," she sighs against her lips, "I think you're wonderful." She pulls back just slightly, tongue clicking against the roof of her mouth as she gathers her thoughts. Then she buries her face against Vi's neck again, and sets about kissing her way to her collarbone-- slow, scattered kisses between words.
"I'm so lucky you chose me. I've never met anyone like you." She caresses her gently, tracing over hipbone, up to the edges of her stomach, to her ribs. Her thighs rub against the contour of Vi's hips, an automatic motion that she'd barely even recognize, were it not for the friction from the stiff fabric. It makes her flesh tingle.
"You're strong, and you don't take anyone's shit, and you're a fighter, but you won't give up your soft parts. You are so," she inhales sharply before smothering a kiss in the valley of Vi's breasts, "goddamn lovable. Every part of you is gorgeous. The way you move. The way you laugh. That ridiculous little noise you make when I do this--" she curls her fingers, very abruptly, against Vi's bellybutton. But she lets up the next moment, pleased with the reaction she got. She kisses the tops of her breasts, once, twice more, then lifts her head to look her in the eye.
"I'd like to touch you. Very much. May I?"

No one has every said anything like this to her. No one has ever said this much. And then Cait tickles her and all that tension, pleasure, and anxiousness jolts a strained gasp from her mouth.
Vi tries to remain present, to not let her mind wander into thoughts of is she really all the things Cait just said? Does she deserve to be here, in this amazing home with someone like Cait? Can she keep this going or will Cait someday find out she's not any of those things.
"Y-you don't have to if you'd prefer not to..." she manages meekly with a nervous smile, nerves fluttering in her chest.

She tilts her head, looking at the woman beneath her through a furrowed brow.
"Are you uncomfortable?"
no subject
"This is..." Vi reaches a hand out and places it on Cait's cheek, a familiar and comforting gesture. "Believe it or not, this is all very new to me." She clears her throat and adds more confidence to her voice. "Not sex, I've had sex before, I mean..." And her voice softens again, a sort of embarrassment tinging her words. "A relationship." She looks up at Cait, hoping she doesn't have to explain more.

Vi had spent the majority of her young adult life in prison, after all. Caitlyn can't imagine it's a fitting backdrop for romance to blossom. And she feels a little dumb just then, because how had this thought not occurred to her?
She sighs, dropping to rest by Vi's side on the mattress. "I'm sorry, was I overdoing it?"

“You’re wonderful,” she says as she reaches out and brushes at her hair. She looks down, away from Cait, thinking through her words and if she wants to admit this. She swallows.
“No one’s ever said the stuff that you said to me before.” She bites at her bottom lip, and takes a moment before she looks back up at Cait. She shifts a little closer, her voice is quieter, admitting a greater secret. “I’m scared to disappoint you.”

She doesn't know what to say next, so she pulls Cait in for a kiss. Her thumb on Cait's cheek brushes at her soft skin, draws the line of her cheekbone, as her fingers sink into soft, long hair. "Good," she breathes out between kisses, not letting Cait go.

“Oh my goood,” Vi groans, face hot red and goofy smile overtaking her face. It’s sweet, if a little embarrassing. She yelps in a surprised laugh at the tickle against her bellybutton. “Stop,” she moans lightly, no weight behind the request.
Her face is as red as her hair when she smiles up at Cait. “Well,” she says, voice coy, hips wiggling gently under Cait. “You did ask very nicely.”

As she drags the hem of the opened pants down, she studies Vi's face, humming thoughtfully. "You know, it's odd," a tug brings the fabric down to her knees, "How come your name's Violet when you're bright red?"

She’s giddy and nervous and wants to tease a little more; it gives her a small feeling of control. “I’ll get some cute underwear for next time.” They both know that’s a lie.

"You're beautiful, by the way," she mutters, all casually, as if her heart isn't going a mile a minute. Her tongue slips out to wet her lips as she traces fingertips along Vi's bare thigh, skims up over her hipbone, and finally dips between her legs. The wetness that greets her knocks her a little off-axis, and she blurts out an 'ah', her fingers still for all of a moment before curling up.
