Garnet's laughing along with her. Deep and slow, the kind that shakes her whole chest and shoulders if she lets it (and she does, this time.) It's a comfortable laugh, one only allowed out in the safest of moments.
"Maybe," her voice is just as deep, almost quiet in its gentleness. Pearl is being selfish but Garnet is enjoying it. And she feels a bit selfish herself, taking Pearl's time when she knows Pearl should rest. But how can she resist when Pearl allows herself to tell her exactly what she wants.
Garnet shifts off of her elbows and lets more of her weight onto Pearl, probably more than she should, but she uses the opportunity to burrow her nose between Pearl's palms, to place a kiss against her lips. "I'll do anything you want to do." Her voice carries the weight of her meaning. She's giving in to what she wants as well, this moment of intimacy with Pearl. Then she adds, with a bit of teasing to her tone, "Except let you get back to studying."
