It's a good thing, probably, that Garnet can't see the smile Pearl levels up at her -- lopsided and toothy, and positively dripping with unfiltered endearment. Garnet is cute. If Pearl told her that, she very well might get a kick to the face, and the look on her face right now is just as incriminating as the words themselves would be.

So it's a good thing Garnet can't see.
