Pearl lets out a warm, syrupy sigh, sinking into Garnet's words. She knows she's being spoiled, but... it's nice, being told those things. Maybe it's fine, every now and then, as long as she doesn't overdo it.

She's always making mistakes, and she needs to get better; but even still, Garnet sees all this good in her. Garnet loves her.

For now, Pearl just lets herself relish in it. It's a drowsy, comfortable feeling, like drifting slowly through an ocean of wool.

Until Garnet snaps her out of it with a well-pointed jab of the finger, snapping Pearl into a ball like a terrified hedgehog.
