When Garnet feels Pearl's body soften, she knows she's coming back to herself. Garnet tugs at Pearl's shoulder softly, pressing Pearl against her. She continues to tug, rolling herself onto her back, and in the same process, moving Pearl from the carpet and onto her. It's still not the most comfortable of positions, but she knows to move and care for Pearl in small steps.

She brushes her clean hand through Pearl's hair, and her next breath catches a little in her throat, from nerves. "How was that, for you?"
