One of Pearl's eyebrows hikes up at the pointed finger, bringing one corner of her mouth with it. Honestly, it'd take a blind person to miss how starved Garnet must be, but it doesn't stop her heart from doing another little flip at the words. Even with her cheeks stuffed with beef curry, Garnet manages to be so effortlessly cool.

(Though there might be a slight bias on her end, too.)

Tucking her knees to her chest and shifting her weight to the side, Pearl leans her head against Garnet's shoulder. "Silly," she scolds her between forkfuls of noodles, but she's smiling down into her meal, and the bridge of her nose is dusted pink.
